Product Uses
CLEANER 8# Eco-Friendly Water-Based Rust Inhibitor offers excellent rust prevention and cleaning properties. It provides outstanding rust protection for materials including cast iron, cast steel, carbon steel, silicon steel, and ferrosilicon.
Suitable for rust prevention during die casting, stamping, machining, and heat treatment processes for metal components in industries such as home appliances, automotive parts, and hardware.
Features
- Primarily used for rust prevention during metal component processing stages such as die casting, stamping, machining, and heat treatment.
- Provides auxiliary cleaning for various contaminants on metal parts, including metal shavings, lubricants, grease, and fingerprints.
- Concentrated formulation allows low-concentration dilution, resulting in low average cleaning costs.
- Offers excellent rust prevention, fully meeting process-to-process rust protection requirements.
- This water-based rust inhibitor is designed for in-process rust prevention. For medium-to-long-term rust protection exceeding 30 days, oil-based rust inhibitors are recommended.
- Completely halogen-free and compliant with environmental regulations including ROHS and REACH.
- Features a broad process window and strong cleaning power, suitable for various cleaning methods, equipment, and processes.

How to use
- Mix the water-based rust inhibitor with deionized water thoroughly to prepare a working solution of CLEANER 8# at a concentration of 5–10 wt%.
- Cleaning duration ranges from 2 to 45 minutes, with specific timing adjustable based on product requirements.
- After extended cleaning periods, accumulated residues in the rust inhibitor diminish cleaning efficacy and compromise part cleanliness. Regular replenishment or replacement of the rust inhibitor in the tank is necessary based on actual usage (determined by the volume of parts processed).

Precautions
- After opening this product and removing the portion for use, the cap must be tightly secured to prevent the cleaning agent from evaporating.
- Do not place used cleaning agent in the same container as unused cleaning agent.
- Keep the container holding the cleaning agent clean to prevent contamination from dirt or other substances, which may affect the cleaning agent's quality.
- Separation or cloudiness after prolonged storage is normal. Shake well before use for optimal results.
- Ensure no cleaning agent residue remains on the steel mesh after rinsing.
- After continuous cleaning for an extended period, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of compatible defoamer for improved foam suppression.
- During operation, wear impervious gloves made of materials such as long-type butyl rubber or nitrile rubber, along with coveralls and work boots to avoid skin contact. Use masks and goggles designed to protect against organic solvents.
Transportation and storage
Transport as non-hazardous, non-corrosive chemicals.
Store away from light and heat in sealed containers.
Shelf life is 12 months when sealed.
Individual packages may be stacked no higher than two layers. The bottom layer must be secured with non-slip pallets to prevent crushing, deformation, or tipping.
