Recently, the Longgang District preliminary round of the 17th China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Domestic Division) and the industry finals of the 5th "Longgang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Star" Competition concluded successfully. After intense competition, our company, Zhongke Wei New Materials, stood out in the New Materials and Energy Conservation & Environmental Protection category with its "KEY-HeRun216 Fluorine-Free Superhydrophobic Nanocoating" project, securing an outstanding third-place finish.
This competition, hosted by the Torch High-Tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stands as an authoritative public-benefit innovation and entrepreneurship event with extensive influence in the Shenzhen region. Aligning with the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and actively integrating into national strategies, the competition advances technological innovation to broaden industrial innovation pathways and achieve high-quality development outcomes. It supports Shenzhen's efforts to build an industrial innovation center with significant global influence.

Project Overview: KEY-HeRun216 Fluorine-Free Superhydrophobic Nano-Coating
The "HeRun" series of nano-coatings represents an innovative eco-friendly coating solution for high-end manufacturing, chips, semiconductors, new energy, wearable electronics, 3C electronics, PCB, PCBA, and FPC manufacturing. The project achieves its core breakthrough through PFAS-free formulations. Utilizing silica aerogel technology modified with polyether siloxane surfaces, it integrates multiple functionalities including superhydrophobicity, oleophobicity, self-cleaning, high-temperature resistance, and insulation. This solution delivers outstanding environmental performance and long-lasting protective capabilities.
Core Strengths:
Completely Fluorine-Free: Completely eliminates traditional PFAS materials, aligning with global environmental regulations;
High-Performance: Water contact angle >150°, rolling angle <10°, delivering superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning capabilities;

Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent global regulations banning PFAS, traditional fluorinated coatings face pressure to be phased out, while market demand for high-performance eco-friendly coatings grows ever more urgent. The "Hurun" project not only fills a domestic technological gap in fluorine-free superhydrophobic coatings but also provides reliable green material options for high-value-added industries such as chip manufacturing, semiconductors, new energy, wearable electronics, 3C electronics, PCB, PCBA, and FPC production.
This award represents high recognition of Zhongke Micro New Materials' innovative strength in new material R&D and industrial application, while also reflecting the market and industry's urgent expectation for "environmentally friendly + high-performance" coating solutions.
